After the revolutionary NMD Runner release already kicked took our breath away, the brand with the three stripes already presents the next version of the »Nomad«: The adidas NMD XR1. This silhouette features a ventilated side panel complete with a supportive cage overlay and shines with a futuristic, unusual look including the revolutionary BOOST sole. The Upper is entirely made of the finest PRIMEKNIT and nestles like a sock to the foot.

According to its designers, the NMD creation was inspired by three previous shoe characters: The 1984 Micro Pacer, the 1985 Rising Star and the 1986 Boston Super. Ahead of its NMD release, the time-honored brand takes us into its archives to transmit, how these ’80s classics have served as their new flagships´ predecessors.

Now, adidas Originals has another big NMD launch scheduled, with different colorways of the NMD R1, NMD R2, and NMD XR1 in an assortment of men’s and women’s versions. Highlights include the men's NMD XR1 in a navy colorway with red details.
